Welcome to the Dollhouse and The Fall

Two movies I recommend:

This was good. The main character, Dawn, is exceptionally sympathetic and naive, but also very curious and angry. No other character is particularly likable, which is excellent in this film. The relationships between Dawn and most other people in the film are awkward and tense, which is exactly what one expects from an under appreciated 12 year old girl.

This was excellent. The visuals were incredibly beautiful, and according to a friend the entire film was shot on site without the aid of computer editing. The dynamic between the two main characters bordered that of long time friends. Often, conversations that revolved around language barriers seemed unscripted. I will definitely watch this again.
